THE LITERAL STANDARD VERSION
One of the most literal Bible translations available, the LSV is a good choice when it is important to know the exact wording of a biblical passage, and it is more readable than some other strongly literal versions. The LSV uses single brackets to signify words that are added to make the meaning of the text clear, and it also has other helpful features. In the Old Testament the name of God, translated as LORD or Jehovah or Yahweh in most English translations, is rendered as YHWH – the consonants used in the Hebrew Bible.
